St John Henry Newman (1801-1890) was canonized on 13 October 2019. His written works comprise over 70 volumes, including 40 volumes of the standard works and 32 volumes of his Letters and Diaries. This book includes: a generous collection of quotations from Newman's sermons and other standard works; well-known quotes within context and with citations; quotes on lesser-known topics (e.g., advice to inquirers); and over 150 quotes from Newman's letters. It also provides a selection of Newman's prayers and meditations.
